Andhra: Elaborate arrangements underway for PM Modi's Amaravati visit on May 2

Vijayawada ( Andhra Pradesh [India], April 29 (ANI): Following the announcement by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi 's visit to Amaravati On May 2nd to resume the operations of the capital city works, Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary K Vijayanand stated that comprehensive plans are being put into place for this purpose.

As stated in a press statement, he examined the preparations for the Prime Minister's visit alongside officials at the CS camp office in Vijayawada on Monday. According to the announcement, as individuals from different regions are converging at the Prime Minister’s meeting, numerous buses and other vehicles will traverse national highways and significant roadways. Therefore, CS Vijayanand directed the Additional DGP Law and Order, Collectors, and SPs to develop comprehensive strategies beforehand to prevent any traffic congestion.

As stated in the announcement, addressing the gathering, the State Nodal Officer responsible for organizing the Prime Minister's visit, G Veerapandian, elucidated the proposed timeline for the Prime Minister's upcoming trip. Amaravati He mentioned that the Prime Minister would arrive at Gannavaram Airport at 2:30 PM on May 2nd. After landing, he will board a helicopter bound for the State Secretariat premises. Following this, he will proceed to the event location.
